What\u2019s more, if parents are off work, their recreational use of mobile tech also increases; how many absent conversations have been had as Mum checks FaceBook, and the refrain of \u2018In a minute\u2019 from Dads as they watch Ebay auctions is commonplace throughout households.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4108\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4108\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4108\" src=\"https:\/\/screentimelabs.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/its_the_all_new_stl_kids_v_parents.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"380\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4108\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Half term challenge<\/p><\/div>\n<p>So here at Screen Time Labs, we decided to make this a fun holiday involving all the family with our new kids vs. parents holiday challenge. We\u2019re asking our families to set a daily <a href=\"https:\/\/screentimelabs.com\/\">screen time<\/a> allowance (say between 1 and 4 hours) of recreational use for everyone in the family, parents included, to see who copes with it best.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for fun written, photographed or filmed diaries of who is the moodiest, who comes up with the best recreational ideas, what arguments transpire, who has the best time, how families have learnt to use their <a href=\"https:\/\/screentimelabs.com\/\">screen time<\/a> wisely and what they experienced during holiday time.<\/p>\n<p>The best ones will be published on our blog, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/screentimelabs\">Twitter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ScreenTimeLabs\/\">Facebook<\/a> channels. \u00a0If you are yet to subscribe to our app, <a href=\"https:\/\/remote.screentimelabs.com\/?a=signup#\/signup\">why not signup to a free trial<\/a>\u00a0and take part in our challenge?<\/p>\n<p>Founder, <a href=\"https:\/\/screentimelabs.com\/team\/steve-vangasse\/\">Steve Vangasse<\/a>, and his family are up first for the challenge.
